Front Page... of MLB.com!

It's not everyday a lowly blogger like me gets a chance to have an article posted on the front page of MLB.com, but today was my lucky day!  My article on MLB caps is now posted among the main articles of every Major League Baseball team site as the main link in the "Cap Off Your Summer Sale" box.

Woohoo!

This is the first article I have ever written for which I have received compensation, and the first step toward my goal of becoming a freelance writer.  Due to injuries sustained in my Army career, I have trouble working a lot of jobs (especially those that require a lot of standing or walking), plus the fact that I take care of my father, a disabled veteran, so working from home from my computer would be optimal employment for me.

And this is a first step!
